any news on the "Sapphire HD 3870 Atomic" , only seen them at one online store but they had them at £199.99 . are they supposed to be that expensive ?

Not sure how expensive they should be, but I can tell you that you're better off either getting a standard 3870 and spending your extra money on something else...or just using it on a 8800GTS 512mb or something

But yes looks like it's supposed to be that price. Read the review and all the extra cash went to a luxury aluminum suitcase and software bundles, including a valve black box and a £15 game voucher.
the card itself is not special at all apart from being pre-overclocked and its own VCT single slot cooler design.

My Gecube 3870xt cost the same as a BFG GeForce 8800 GT OC 512MB from here, and was pre-overclocked, new cooler and also came with The Black Box (which went for £15 on the bay cause already had orange box
)
