Asus Rampage + 2x 3870X2?

I just recieved my motherboard and two of these (damn heavy) graphics cards, but then suddenly became paranoid.

The videocard box says up to four GPUs wiht the AMD 790FX based mobo but this one is obviously intel.

Will I only be able to use two of these on the X48 or does one need sending back?

no u can use 2 3870x2s on the intel board because it has xfire cappability

lol. I have a 3870X2 sat on my desk waiting to be used but system down for a week. Cant wait tho. let me no of the outcome of the quad Xfire as i would like to no

Well it came the mobo and two graphics cards came in the same box as a QX9650, 8 gig of ram as well.

3 hours 55 minutes - Might knock myself out to make it seem faster.

I'll do my best to see how it performs, but my old rig is 3 years old so everything - I feel - is going to feel pretty damn snappy.

Are you overclocking this setup?
Would be good to let us know how you get on with it if you are and what the results are.
Get it under water and push 4Ghz :cool:
