This is about the only poor side of the deal in my eyes. I think I'd certainly do it myself, being a fan of larger cars. Apart from the colour and the associated costs (less economic, tax), it seems great.

Yeah certainly. If it was in black/silver/blue I would definatly go for it. I suppose it's whether Tom can get his head around the colour, if so I think it would be a great car to own.

The colour, after good consideration is utter crap though :(

Had it been silver/black/blue I would have snapped it up. I prob care as much for looks as I do for performance. But who doesn't normally :p

I would swap it, the mondeo would make you seem grown up and serious if old manish, does more for me than a 1.6 5 door Focus is ever guna do.

BUY IT!!!

GREEN STILL LOOKS GOOD!

An 18 year old with a 2.5l v6 is win win win!!!

Just make sure you like big cars, they take getting use to..

Who gives a crap about the colour? - Your inside, you won't see it!

You can mod a Focus all you want mate, it won't give you that feeling of a "proper" motor under the hood.

Buy it or go on my ignore list! :):p:D

I obviously care about the appearence of cars. I wouldn't have bothered with the ST upgrades otherwise.

May just hold out for a nice silver example or something :/

Tom, what's the minimum your mate's Dad or whoever would take for the car, cash?

They are basically valuing the Mondeo at £3k from what you have said, this seems quite expensive given it's 7years old with 6-figure mileage.

I think if you're having doubts leave it. One thing there is no shortage of are second hand cars and there are probably hundreds of other ones for sale already, probably one in a colour you'll like better.

To me the only real plus point with this offer is that you get shot of the focus with no hassle. Big deal - if the Focus mods you've made are sought after you'll sell it very easily. This will give you plenty of haggling left on another car and you won't end up paying top dollar, or maybe slightly over the odds just to get rid of a car that's going to be easy to sell anyway :)

I actually quite like the green - it's differant :p

just buy it you do a few miles round town why bothered about mpg i'd slitting my wrists after 1 and half year in a 1.6 focus

i wouldnt, not exactly a nice looking mondeo, so many other examples going about.

Fair enough if you were in your late 40's, but as a young lad i would stay away.

Yeah it has a v6, which i love in my st24, however just look at it - a lot of money will be needed to make it look good. Stay away mate, keep yours or even get a mk2 mondey st24!! And have even more money back your way.

I'm sure most folk would be slitting their wrists after an hour and a half in your passenger seat.

Truth

Danny you drive a 2.0 Mondeo it's hardly worlds apart. Infact I'd take the Focus over a 2.0 Mondeo.

If I do get a mondeo it's 2.5 >
