Prey on steam $5

I'm tempted to buy it from steam, not sure tho as I've found it in a shop for £4.98 inc postage.

Then I will have it on DVD at least aswell :)

How big is it to download?

It isn't quite cheaper than Steam but I take the point that people still like the retail packaging that comes with purchase, I know I don't feel quite the same satisfaction with a downloaded purchase.

bah, cant get the game to work. i go into Steam, launch Prey and it goes to the screen with the 3 characters and locks up my computer. only way to get back into Steam after that happens is reboot the computer and do system restore to earlier this morning.

tried 3 times now with no success in playing the game. what i dont understand is the demo works flawlessly.

a bit OT, but i'm starting to prefer the download options - on PS3 and PC.

Means i dont have loads of disks cluttering the place up, get updates as they happen, and can delete when bored, and redownload again x number of years into the future without having to rummage around in the loft for a lost disk!

personal preference i guess.
 
Well actually I got it while about, and it was with 2 other games for £10 so you could argue it was free, anyway could throw the disk away now anyway, was just bragging :D
 
Thanks Psypher, downloading now. Was interested in the game when it first came out. Seemed to have some unusual things. Didn't want to spend much on it tho. €5 works nicely :)
