Football Manager on 360

The Achievements cover a large section of it. I've been promoted with a team, I've won leagues all over Europe, I've bought and sold hundreds of players, I've tweakes systems until I found an unbeatable one, I've played online, I've managed a team for 20 years, I've won everything available to any team I've managed (a total of 5 different countries, 2 national countries), I've won the European Championships, I've won the World Cup back to back, I've taken in youths from a scouting scheme and sold them for more than £50m.

All told, I've done FM2006.

Sometimes, I forget how truly addictive these games have been! £8 seems too much of a bargain to be ignored!

Is March not a funny time to release this? Football season will be coming to an end and by the time the new season comes around the data is going to be a bit behind.

Surely waiting for the start of the new season would be better and make it more Christmas present material which would only help sales?

Did anybody pick this up on release today. Want to go into town and buy it tomorrow but haven't seen any reviews for the 360 version yet.

Not sure about this one. Already have it for pc (which then went **** up a couple of weeks later so I can't actually play it). The 360 version of FM2006 was excellent, but FM2007 was **** on the 360. I'll probably wait to see what people round here think about it before deciding.

Got this game yesterday and so far I really like it even though i'm not very good at it. This is the first football manager game I have owned so I don't have a clue what i'm doing.

Has anybody got any tips for preventing injuries as I have only played 6 games and already have 3 of my Everton players injured. Two strikers (Yakubu and Johnston) for 4 months and a midfielder for 2 months. :(

Are you checking the condition of your players before each game? I always tried to use players with a minimum of 90% conditioning where at all possible, even with the large squad I had this was no easy task. Too intensive a training schedule can also lead to injuries.

Yes, all of my team have a condition of over 95%, but players are still getting injured every game. Think it's probably the training schedule as i've just checked and it's set quite high.

Thanks
