Is Kameo the best looking game on the 360 ?

It ought to look good, it must have been in development a good 5 or so years, it was originally lined up to launch on the gamecube :p

a guy from Rare came to give a few of us a lecture a couple years ago about the games industry and he had kameo and a dev kit with him. it did look truely stunning then :0

also he said they were originally developing it for the xbox but it then got semi ported (i guess anythin they'd done, moved across) and created for the 360 instead. he said somethin about you can tell from bits in the game such as the grass being totally flat and pretty much transparant when looking directly down on it etc

think theres a bit in a church or great hall or something that has little lights or particles floating around inside it? he reckoned they just typed in 1million into the engine for the ammount of particles on screen at any given time to see if it worked and it did so they just went with it lol dunno how much truth there is to that but still

a game worth getting eitherway :)

Long time no post I know but I have just started playing this and couldn't believe I had missed out on it, graphics are fantastic can't believe it was from launch and the gameplay is awesome.

Faith restored in Rare after PDZ...hope the new Banjo rocks too.

wondered what this thread is was doing up back up, glad you finally got the game, it is brilliant isn't, take note of the music score as well, really is good, it's the one game I really miss on the 360, I can feel myself cracking and buying another one just to play through a few old games, I know one thing, if Banjo-Kazooie is as well made then I'll definitely be picking one up.

If Banjo and Kazooie is as good as the original you'll forget all about Kameo - it's a polished turd in comparison ;)

Fingers crossed that not all of the Rare magic has slipped away.

Is there only one Kameo version? I'm going to buy it and rainbow 6 vegas 1.

Kameo: Elements Of Power, is this correct?

Can get both games for £24, not bad :)

Yes there's only the one game - Kameo Elements of Power.

I got this for xmas in 2005 and really enjoyed the game. I might play it again today actually as I recently lost all of my savegames and when I originally played through the game I only had an SDTV, so I've never even seen it in in high res.

Hmm think i might well have to go pick this up at the weekend, from the screenshots you have posted it looks beautiful.

Keep seeing it in the shops for like 7 quid, looks a bargain to me.

For that price it's a great buy. Kameo is really stunning to look at and, despite not doing anything great, doesn't play bad at all.

Seeing the game for the first time is an experience. It just throws a fat palette of colours at you from all angles.

I'ts a very pretty game but I've not had chance to play it yet, I managed to snag my copy
for £4.99 form a big toy shop a while ago :)
