Miss the Cerb it was an amazing machine.

Don't have enough spare cash for a Tuscan, so I'm thinking of getting a Chimaera for the summer.

Driven a 400 before and to be honest I wasn't too impressed.

What model should I be looking at and anything other than usual bits do I need to check out before purchasing?

Thanks

Nope fantastic cars and the model the OP is looking at is one of the better ones in terms of build and reliability.

I think 'fantastic cars' is a little bit strong.

And the dozen or so I've worked on over the past few years have had shocking build quality, and exceptionally poor quality OE parts.

Don't bother. After a 4.5 cerb, the only Chim that would even vaguely hold your attention would be the 500, and even then it's very pedestrian by comparrison.

If you want a drop top trevor for summer fun, find yourself a decent Griff 500. I'd get one with PAS if I were you though. It does make life a little easier.

Alternatively, for summer breezes, I'd go for something more like this

i could answer but i dont think it would have any bearing... and when you do buy it, it will only last a couple of weeks before you sell it. :p
