You can take it as far as you want. I'm not saying that spending money on good tyres is a bad idea, far from it. Wonders wheels is also quite effective on grotty motorbike wheels, but as mentioned it is rather abrasive so don't use it too often and protect the wheel afterwards with a good coat of wax (makes them easier to keep clean in the future too)
