Nothing new on the horizon for the 360?

Seriously thinking about selling my Xbox 360.

I cannot think of one game in the next year I am waiting for to come out on this console.

I have decided to stay with the PS3 for a couple of reasons such as GTA, GT5 and Blueray, and most other things that I'm waiting for will either be released on the PC or PS3.

Is there any top titles (360 only) that I'll miss out on if I sell it?

April: GTA4
May: Alone in the Dark, Splinter Cell: Conviction!!!
June: Lego Indianna Jones!!!, Ninja Gaiden 2
July: Res Evil 5

Should keep you busy for a bit.

Not really. I think the PS3 has done a pretty good job so far catching up to the 360 in terms of games. I think it's now just a case of which controller do you prefer and the extra features like bluray. All the big titles get released for both the 360 and the PS3, you really don't miss out on much if you go one way or the other these days. A year and over ago I would have said stick with the 360 just because it had a wider range of games. But as I said the PS3 has done a pretty good job so far releasing new titles.

Ah Res evil 5 and splinter cell will be tastey!! But also on the PS3?

I think if a game is released on both platforms I am more likely to buy it on the PS3 for some reason.

I think Splinter Cell and Ninja Gaiden 2 from that list are 360 exclusive. the others will be on PS3 (actually I am unsure about the Alone in the Dark game).

think ive seen Gametrailers developer diaries mentioning that Alone in the Dark will be on PS3

Is there really any point in selling it? You'll get a little over £100 perhaps, which isn't exactly a huge premium to pay for a console which (despite what you think) has some great titles coming out for it.

Just keep it!

Lol, resident evil 5 coming out in july.

You have been smoking the wacky it seems.

Splinter Cell is Xbox360 only.
Ninja Gaiden 2 is Xbox360 only.
Football Manager 2008 came out on Friday (Xbox360 only).
GTA4 is coming out on Xbox360 with exclusive content (which MS paid $50m for).

Other than that Xbox360 pretty much goes punch for punch with PS3s releases in multi-formats, the case is whether PS3's multi-formats are as good. I'd like to believe they will be, just when I was raving about it getting sorted... Turok.

Alone in the Dark is coming to Playstation 3.

But has been heavily delayed (as much as 6 months I believe).

I really do like the look of the PS3 at the moment but the 360 still has the games I want to play:

Splinter Cell: Conviction
Too Human
Fable 2
Banjo Kazooie
Left 4 Dead << Seriously check this out, could be goty
Bioshock 2
APB (by the Crackdown guys)
Gears of War 2
Cry On
Ninja Gaiden 2
Alan Wake
Infinite Undiscovery
Dead Island
Peter Jacksons Halo Project
Project Offset

Also Rare, Lionhead and Bungie are al lworking on titles yet unnanounced and we could see Forza 3 next year. All good stuff.

Isn't there a survival horror called "dead space" coming out around October? Downloaded preview for it on Live and thought it looked kinda cool.

Honestly though. Even I was starting to fall for the constant '360 has nothing more to offer, PS3 is king' barrage on the forums and looked at the PS3 this last week.

It's nonsense I've realised though and the PS3 is only starting to look good as it's been so bad for so long.

This last couple of weeks I've been playing (amongst other games) Lost Odyssey and Bully: SE; they're 360 only.

If I look through my latest games(tm) issue and for supposably the year of PS3 domination, yet again there are no PS3 exclusives. The 360 has several ones (the 2 I mentioned above for example).

Yes I know GT:P has just come out, and Hot Shot Golf, but really, is this it?

The 360 has and has had the lions share of the best games, it has an already impressive line up for this year and will have a lot of other games yet unnanounced.

To the OP. It sounds like you want to put gaming on the back foot listing blu-ray as one of your main criteria. It just feels like we've got another 360 has jack **** left to offer thread we just don't need.

To be fair, both lists look great, but it all depends on what appeals to you, not much on the 360 list appeals to me personally, in fact the only game I want to play on the 360 that I can't play on PS3 is Lost Odyssey.

Having said that I am an oddball and no doubt in the minority when I say the PSN games that cost a fiver appeal to me more these days than full retail games.

There are unreleased games I really do fancy on the PS3 ~ I may come accross as a 360 only fan but I'm really not.

When (there's that word again) LA Noire, FFXIII, White Knight Story, Afrika and Heavy Rain are out I'll probably grab one but as it is the 360 is still the only place I can play Lost Odyssey, Dead Rising, Crackdown, Fable 2 etc. :)
