cheap place to hire a car

hi guys, my mates car is off in for repair and he needs a hire car for 3 days, he isn't botherd what it is, but he's been quoted £300 for 3 days for a seat altea i reckon he could get a ford ka for about £50 a day? can anyone recommend a cheap company please cheers

You can get a ka for a week @ £100

Everywhere? Its a really common car/price point (for smaller local firms)

Even with enterprise you can get a vectra/mondeo type car for £90 (if over 25 now) or a KA for £60
