Undecided about this? Kind of like that imitation wood you used to find on a Rover's dash impression. Not to everybody's taste as some could consider it cheap and nasty-but we are comparing it to plastic arn't we lol. Still undecided.

Looks pretty good, better than I'd have thought to be honest. I actually thought about this before, but I was thinking along the lines of the Jade effect Fablon instead of wood.

Is fablon very durable? I've build an MDF speaker box that would look pretty good "fabloned".

For pro look, use real wood veneers.

Fablon is great!

Top tip, if you need to get it around tight corners, a bit of heat from a hairdryer softens it :-)

I guess veneer would look better... I'm just after something quick and easy really, it's only a horn sub that I use in my car and sometimes for house parties... Nothing amazing. I'm tempted to duratex it as I'm moving it around all the time.

Its actually quite a hard wearing plastic 'material' fablon, a stanley knife i'd assume would be your best bet for cutting it.

I'd fablon my desk but it came as standard! FACTORY FIT YO!
