... but are you still proud?

They did such a good job of it, they even dragged the image across the sky.

I'm proud to be British. Anyone who isn't really needs to get some perspective. Things could be a hell of a lot worse, and on the grand scheme of things we are on top.

Not particularly. I'm aware of how fortunate I am in relation to the possibility of having been born in other parts of the world. But proud, hmmm, not very often.

After talking to my mum today I am deeply ashamed to be from a country that says to a crippled woman you need to wait to your 70 for new knees as they only last 10 years and we can't afford to give you two pair.

She is willing to carry on working infact wants to work but can't due to her knees literally not working anymore. She's only 62 and in agony. What's wrong with a country that can treat their patients like they are cattle. Such a short sighted view since if she is working she'd be healthier, happier and contributing to society. Now they want her to sit in Agony for 8 years for the sake of 10 grand operation.

I'm now exploring private operations here in Belgium after all should she pay for it she might as well say in a hospital where the risk of infection is lower as the cleaners aren't contracted out migrant labour who don't care about work ethics.

She also can't get decent advice as the doctors won't say to her if the operation would/could be beneficial incase she sues the trust for cash at a later date.

I'm proud to be British (well, English) and wouldn't ever want to have be born in a different country. I'm just not proud of the state of the country at the moment and have a huge list of places I'd rather live right now than anywhere in the UK. Infact, I hate living in the UK and would emigrate tomorrow if I could.

I can tell by the pixels, having seen many shops in my time :)

Well I don't know if you're being facetious or not, but you know they did do a fly past right? I heard it with my own ears, and only managed to see the trails left behind as I was on the phone and couldn't actually get up to see them.

The government make us look bad.
The holiday makers make us look bad.
The spoilt teens make us look bad.
The yob culture makes us look bad.
The dole queue bums make us look bad.
The lazy ******* 'bad back' crowd make us look bad.
The poor education system makes us look bad.
The poor heath care fatalities make us look bad.
The taxes are abysmal.

This post highlights some of my concerns.

Edit: Shopped or not, the Red Arrows pics are still great.
