Warhawk - Late to the party?

Does anyone still play Warhawk? I bought this on Monday from the PSN as I'd been intrigued about it for ages but just never wanted to shell out the money for it :p

Apart from dying ALL THE TIME! I'm having lots of fun with it at the moment, I didn't bother with the expansion yet, wasn't sure it was worth it or not?

So, is anyone still playing? Got any tips?
 
My mate got this from PSN and said it's great. I haven't got it yet will get it on payday :D

You need to get a private game going to practice, especially with the warhawks. Most ppl now are crazy good with those flying death machines. I played it the day it came out and I could hang pretty well with everyone else, even when flying the hawks. 2-3 months later without touching it, I decide to give it another go, I got owned so badly it wasn't even funny. People get good FAST!
 
Whats your PSN wyrdo? I've got it but havent played it in about a month but i'd like to get back into it. It's great but other games stole my interest.
 
I still play this quite regularly - although I stay away from the actual Warhawks and just participate in ground battles + surface to air stuff. It's great when you've got a few mates having a knockabout either online or split screen.
 
I'm up for some mess around games if people need to practice. Not played it on ranked servers for at least 2 months. i popped on a couple of weeks back and there still loads of servers etc, a lot had the addon. A new addon is released in 2 weeks which will get a sudden burst of new people (although there is a lot of drastic changes in the new pack from what I read).

In game with a few mates, with a headset, is the best way to learn.

p.s. I warn you I used to be quite good in the Warhawks. Do not be surprised if you can't see me on the map. I am probably right above you flying upside down, ala Top Gun!! :p

I have it, don't play it though. Not played with people from here, but what I have played online I think it's a shambles. Give me a shout and I'll no doubt pop on.

I'll be up for a few games of this! It's been a while since I've played tbh, I think it was probably just before the US release of UT3 that I stopped playing (because everyone from here imported that :().

We ought to relaunch the Sunday Night Warhawk game ;)

Aint the 1.3 update out now? Anyway I miss the weekly crash into rp's air mine nights lol:D
