Just heard a tune on TV, over a video clip, so I have no idea what it's called.

Been after it for a while, it was on an advert a few years back. All I can remember is the partial lyrics in a nearly ghostly voice, the music sound was unusual, definitely no guitars or anything, very wispy.

It opened with "Who are you" then some lyrics I can't remember like "da ba day ba do"

Its most definitely not The Who, which is all I get from google

Anyone who gets me a title gets a free e-beer :D

quite a slowish pace, about 2 beats per second. I think it's a man's voice, but quite high.

The Who and You are the same pitch, but the Are is higher... Who ^are^ you...da ba day ba do...

I have no idea what the advert was for either :(

Who are you? Foo Fighters - Pretender... going by your description it's not that I wouldn't think.

Would help if you knew what advert it was off, or what program! As we don't have a lot to go on here ;)

Definitely.

Here's to Royksopp and their overuse as ambient music in television!

Should use some of their other stuff, not just So Easy and Eple.
