Michael Van Wijk (Wolf from Gladiators) dead?

My dad looks like Wolf with a normal haircut.

Oddly, I never noticed this until long after Gladiators had finished, despite me watching it regularly.

Shame if he's dead, he was a legend to people of around my age :)

wikipedia can be edited by anyone that is why it is not a good place to go for information.
Why do so many people say this? It's factually incorrect - studies show Wikipedia is about as reliable as Encyclopedia Britannica overall - provided the material presented has reliable, verifiable sources.

That doesn't stop randoms from posting unfounded speculation or (as in this case) nonsense, but that by definition fails the above test. If the claim seems outlandish or even just dubious, look for a citation, or find another source.

I agree. I really don't find it difficult to judge an article's accuracy just from reading it, and checking its references. I think it's pretty easy to spot an article that is likely to be incorrect. If I find it easy, chances are so do many other people, even further increasing the chance that it will be edited to be made more accurate or flagged up as having problems.
