Apparently, there's no way that one person would ever be allowed to test the 'sacred' cars - even if they were a good driver! Some of the car companies are complete cocks about the whole testing thing, anyway, by all accounts. They have to fiddle the lap times to ever secure a particular car being on the show.

Exactly! it's so that people are more likely to let top gear 'have' the car for a while.

Its my number 1 thing on BBC and Im sure its one of the BBCs best viewing figures.

And frankly wrong place for that comment tbh. "I know, I'll go into a TG related thread and **** it off, that'll go down well!"

Let me guess Jas72.. you want a down to earth (boring) show reviewing all the reasonably priced cars for average jo blog's?
