As title, just wondering whos having a gamble on the horses this weekend, and if so who which horse you going for?

. Still got the sun sweepstake at work with a 16 - 1 horse
I'll have a go but haven't even looked at the form yet. I've got a free £5 bet on betfair and another on VCbet that I'll use but I think I'll save my real cash for the other races where form actually counts for something.
I understand how each way works, but how many places will this cover in the grand national, 1st -5th?
Nice one mate. A day at the races is always good fun...even more so if you're up when you leave. We went to Aintree yesterday on hospitality with £100 to spend and came out with just over £200 Lots of little bets on outsiders although if I'm honest, I just went on gut instinct. Apart from race one (which we won nothing on) we bet on 2 of the horses placed in the top 3 in each following race. One in particular, £2.50 each way on Stan (chosen due to OCUK's very own BigStan) came in 1st and won us just under £100 (99.60 or thereabouts). Nearly fell over, I had no idea he had such good odds. Bet £1.50 today and won £9 on 'Gone for Lunch'. Not sure on tomorrow, quite fancy Turko or King John Castle. Will also punt on a few outsiders, see if any come home.

Go through Quidco and use Betfair (sign up new account) you just bet 10 quid and you get £50 cashback from Quidco, i have just done it and its tracked through fine. So you cant really loose.
Ive just set up an account and bet (i think) £10 on a football match at the weekend. How do quidco know that i have done this and therefore know to credit my quidco account?

You have to sign into Quidco, then go to the actual offer and click the link to Betfair as it uses a tracking cookie, so you are linking to Betfair from Quidco direct. You then complete your sign up and then place your bet, it then tracks. Quidco works the same for every offer, i have had over £200 cashback this month just from general purchases. I havent went on and started blagging casino stuff its all from Car insurance and nik naks for the house so its well worth it.

We cant work out whether it HAS to be a grand national bet, a lot of people think not yet the website seems to imply that the offer is for the grand national?
I just signed up as said and put £10 on a football match which is almost certain to win instead, as i dont have a clue about horses. Nothing showing in the quidco screen as yet![]()
