Rockband dated for Euroland! (PS3 delayed)

From the gaf we have a date for Rockband on the 360:

22nd May!

Rock Band Software - 69,99 €

Rock Band Guitar Wireless - 79,99 €

Rock Band Drum - 89,99 €

Rock Band Bundle (complete) - 169,99 €

The PS2/PS3 versions are delayed until the fall/september (no idea why as it's out in the US).

Anyone else getting this?

I'm getting it hopefully though the wife has just had her hours cut so money might be a bit tight, the kids will have to go without new shoes

Think its still a rumour on that one, not been confirmed or denied by EA yet, looks like Microsoft paid someone some money to delay the PS2/PS3 version if true lol. Anyway us PS3 owners been able to play it since launch (if you wanna pay for it)

, still its nice to know it actually coming out sometime this year, still i think the £140 (ish) price tag is way to high for it.

well, for the complete set its pretty reasonable really compared to GH3. if it is comfirmed for september they'll see even more people importing it.

I realised for the price you can buy a real guitar so I went and did just that

Rockband is seriously overpriced in this country if it is going to be 140-150 GBP.

Edit: It's $147.99 in the USA right now, so that's about £75?

Near enough yes, will still probably be around £120+ here I imagine.

Its really overpriced when you see how plasticy everything is, be tempted just to buy the guitar only if they dont allow you to use GH3 guitars.

If the song are any good I'll get the guitar package, there's already 3 of us, I immediately reserved bass

I'm guessing you can play as a group without vocals.

I would pay £200 if a piece of software like this could have imported songs, rocking out of blink 182 would be immense.

I remember reading something on these forums about RB being delayed to ensure better build quality for the European release (US ones breaky)? :confused:

PS I hardly even played guitar hero but now the red button on both our gibson guitars has stopped working (some of the other buttons are dodge too), what can I do?

In the GH manual should be a contact number for Activision support, give it a ring I hear they are pretty good.

Depends on your tastes i suppose, i found the setlist to be far more my cup of tea than guitar hero, Pixies, Nirvana, REM, a lot more punk rock style tracks.
