Is Metal Gear 4 coming to the 360?

Well my question is as above - is Metal Gear 4: Guns of the Patriots coming to the 360?

I know that a while ago it was rumoured during that time that a load of PS3 'exclusives' were also announced for the 360. I have lost track since then and was wondering if the rumour evaporated or solidified.

I ask as I just saw some footage on GamerTV and it looks kinda good.

Its been confirmed many, many, many times that it is a PS3 exclusive by Kojima himself and various other KP employee's. Last year many people thought as the PS3 user base was small in comparison to the 360's that konami would need to release it on the 360, as there wasnt a big enough user base to sustain a high production cost game as this. Now the gap is far smaller and the PS3 user base will be between 12-13 million at least by its release (higher than the 360's was at halo 3's), so it will sell well enough. Also the fact that Kojima is such a perfectionist he would not want to cut bits out or degrade the quality of the game so it would fit on a reasonable amount of DVD9 as it fills a 50Gb BD! So maybe another konami based developer will make a MGS4 game for the 360 i dont know, but not guns of the patriots and i doubt very much it will be Kojima who has anything to do with it, I think that MGO will make its way to the 360 at some point though.
 
On the 1up Yours podcast, someone asked one of the guys that went to the secret playtest if MGS4 is coming to the 360, and he quickly responded with "NO!" - as if he knew for sure that it wasn't coming to 360.
 
Won't happen, but I don't think it's because of DVD9, Kojima is so far up his own arse about how he fills a 50Gb Blu-Ray disc, likely by chucking in tons of uncompressed 7.1 audio that only a small userbase will even use, I think it could easily be done on 360.

Got a PS3 though so wahey. :p

Edit: Also I don't see why developers seem to be so hasty about using more than 1 disc, not a problem at all swapping discs every 10 hours of gameplay or so, not that games these days even last that long usually on single player...

every ps3 was exclusive was rumoured to go multi platform when they werent doing as well :\ but this simply isnt the case anymore.

its exclusive to ps3 but you could always hope i suppose, mgs2 came out on the xbox but then mgs3 was exclusive to playstation
 
MGS2 didn't sell well on the xbox. Reason why MGS3 is ps2 exclusive. MGS4 is and always will be a PS3 exclusive. MGSO might go to xbox.
 
I thought it would come out on the 360, but if it does it will have more than 1 disk which wouldn't please a lot of people. And if its true about Blu-Ray reaching its max for space, then its very unlikely it will come to the 360.
 
If the PS3 userbase is small compared to the 360's, it won't be after MGS4 is released.
