How could they do this to me !! abysmal customer service ! Is this even legal ?!

I'm just about to leave PlusNet for ADSL24. This is because I can't stand the way they limit your speed before you even reach your limit in order to help you... Off peak with PlusNet has always been great, but it's the peak time that is just abysmal.

Had 2Mbps pipex here for 3 years, no problems, tiscali has managed to dump us down to 900Kbps and deny there is anything wrong, and on top of that they're threatening legal action because they forgot to charge us £23 last month. Worst ISP in the country and they can **** right off as soon as humanly possible

Ah well, I've gone for 10Gb Pro/prioritised traffic thingy. I don't really need a lot and if I do decide to d/l something it'll be the small hours. :)

Everythings been slow for me today, and had a lot of probs with things like pictures not loading...noticed just now that the adsl speedtest has detected my isp as Tosscali and my 2meg (most i can get) connection is down to 1meg...guess i've been switched over as well...i'm off...
:(

Plusnet or Nildram?

Errr. Not sure what you mean. Pipex are the ISP. I've been suffering a major loss in speed in the last few days I went to www.speedtest.net and it shows my D/L speed at l.3Mb, (used to have almost 6Mb) and it said my ISP is Tiscali! It used to say Pipex. So they must have shifted me over too

They will be getting a phone call

Does that look normal to anyone?

Gutted for you. I'm glad I don't have to put up with ADSl anymore, more and more of the good providers left afre being bought, putting up prices or introducing stupid caps and shaping.

Very happy with Cable apart from the 5Mb cap during the day every so often.

They will have shifted you over, did they not let you know that they were getting taken over by Tiscali.
