well 1680x1050 is pretty close to 1600x1200. and have a look at Crysis Very High 1680x1050 benchmark, see which card top the single GPU chart: 8800GTXRead post 10, that explains it.
A pretty pointless discussion to be honest as everyone has a different resolution so you can't get an answer (no cheek intended). 1920x1200 resolution then I'd get the 8800GTX. 1600x1200 then I'd get the 9800GTX.

at 1280x1024 or below, G92 is good. anything else, 8800GTX still dominates.

. Your post is confusing the hell out of me as it doesn't make sense unless you meant just in Crysis and if you did mean that one title then I have to say this. We don't buy, build and overclock our PC's just to be able to play one game when there are loads of other great looking games that run like butter.
