No technical term afaik. It's carp and you should just down it from the normal aperture/ from a glass. Much quicker that way

Stab the beer near the bottom of the can and chug, tilt when it doesn't feel heavy any more.

At least, that's how we did it when I was young and silly.

Pierce the bottom edge of the can with something sharp - a Biro sometimes works if you can't find anything else, then open the can of beer normally on the top - this will send the beer rushing downwards into your mouth as the air needed to fill the emptying space is down on the top.

Just relax your neck / throat if you know how to, let the drink roll down

I used to do the alternative with bottles.

Stick a straw in the bottle, bend the neck over away from your mouth and just suck it through the bottle as normal, the straw lets air into the bottom of the bottle.

Remember downing bottles of alcopop at something like 2.2 seconds lol

Its possible just nto advisable,

the local shop had them 3 for £10, so we bought 9 and were doing shots ect with them, i was ill for days after it

Can just about remember a friend getting me to do this with 3 cans of beer and a glass of brandy afterwards. I was 14
