Haha! I knew it. Nice find NeilMick
Damn it feels good to be right

And Brundle and Allen banging on about that incident ALL THROUGHOUT THE RACE... times like this makes me even more happier to know that F1 will be going back to the BBC.

When asked about the view of some experts in the paddock who believed it could have been a brake test, Symonds said: "Well, they are not as expert as they think then. We have the data and there is nothing untoward there. You don't need to be an expert to see that."
In the eyes of Brundle and Allen, Hamilton can do no wrong. Which is why I dont like their commentating. Very biassed and very one sided.
Mark Blundel on the other hand... I like his comments and views... even though he also sided with Brundle and Allen on this issue, I know his thoughts stem from an unbiassed opinion.

Autosport.com has seen the telemetry data of Alonso's exit from the first corner, and it shows that the Spaniard was flat on the throttle from the exit, did not touch the brake and gained speed in a totally predictable manner.
Should shut a few of you up![]()
Nice, LH must have got incredible traction to run into him at that speed if Alonso's acceleration was normal.
By Renault's seemingly own admission in this case!At the end of the day without TC, no doubt a few are waiting until they are fully straight before applying full throttle and are especially wary on the first corner/lap.Apparently the Renault car is just really really ****By Renault's seemingly own admission in this case!

Lewis Hamilton make a mistake and then show no ability to come through the pack?
Nah never happened.
Hamilton had a rubbish start and his car just wasnt the same after it was tainted by Alonso.
I honestly think its a 'mental control' issue - when hes at the front he can effectively dictate the pace and ensure (that if his pitstops are normal) his win. When hes chasing I think he just feels out of control trying to play catch-up and just over-works the car and then the small mistakes appear, until he either drops the car or basically gives up - just hasnt got that mental toughness.Massa, lead from the start and so completed the race with no problems, in first place. This is the sort of thing he excells at. We have seen this numerous times during the last year. His problem comes when he isnt leading - who knows what the hell goes on in his head. He has the ability and car to get an easy 2nd (usually behind Kimi), if he cant lead the race. I think he just gets a little reckless and frustrated when he isnt leading.

Alonso seems to drive a lot more carefully.
Massa I feel doesnt have the mindset to be a champion - hes a fast racer but I cant see any difference between him and Barrichello and he was squarely Ferraris number 2 and got a few decent wins but never challenged Schumacher...

I was surprised Williams went with Nakajima in the first place. They culd have had quite a few young promising talents in that car. Nakajima would be 4th or 5th on that list IMO.
