Cadburys advert. Airport drag race.

you say it doesnt relate to cadbutys true but when the gorrila one came out everyone was talking about it which is promoting cadburys same right now.
Is the stigg in this about 1 min 18 secs in :D

I don't really see how the advert is meant to relate to the chocolate.. kinda a failure as an advert as far as I'm concerned.

But how are they gonna sell Dairy Milk by talking about how it tastes? Everyone knows what Dairy Milk tastes like already. If they want people to buy more of it, they need to get the product in people's heads, and that's what the advert's designed to do.

Great minds think alike :D

It's genius because it made you make a topic about it here. How many other adverts do that?

is that converting to sales though?

if it isnt then its just a confused failure of an advert

its pointless everyone talking so much about the advert and how cool it is when the aim of adverts is to get everyone talking and buying the product

I wonder if the aero advert brings in more sales from girls due to the buff guy.

Or the diet coke ad.

I'd also like to see what the sales figures look like with an ad targeting men, featuring hot chicks. Pretty much most ad's you see on TV feature a girl these days.

title: "Ball Genius"

ad for BES( Bank Holy Spirit and comercial of Lisbon)

rough translation:)

"
The boy rub the lamp, leaves CR and says: I give you tree desires

First desire

Boy - I want an account in the bank, always growning, like yours
CR - it´s easy, open an account in the BES, and see how it grows!

second desire -

Boy - I want a ticket to the final of the European Cup!
CR - when you open the account, you could win one!

Third desire --
Boy (after some hesitation) I want a signed ball !
CR - ok, done, goodbye!

means next time you go to buy chocolate though, your mind automatically thinks cadbury's.

They are already established so all they have to do is keep their name in peoples heads.

It doesn't even have the chocolate in it until it shows it for a short time at the end. If people aren't paying attention to the advert, (talking to people during the break, making tea etc.) they won't even think cadbury's unless they watch the few seconds at the end.

A good advert doesn't necessarily need to explain exactly what it tastes like, but the product needs to feature in it enough to get it in to your head, even if that just means putting a picture of the cadbury's logo on one of the trucks the association would be stronger in your head. Not to mention it's not useful for people who haven't had it yet.

An advert showing chocolate swirling around and being made makes me think "ooh, chocolate I want some", the cocacola christmas advert with the train with coca-cola on the sides, lights and that song makes me think of coke but I wouldn't even have thought of cadbury's after this advert if there wasn't a thread here discussing it.

.. Though that may be another point :p

ahh but that's the thing an add showing chocolate makes you want some, but an add that makes you ask other people about it till one knows it's cadburys makes several people think of chocolate.

And most people will not immediately get up after hatching the ad to get chocolate but if their talking about it at lunch or work with someone they may go buy some :)

Still I love galaxy :p
