I have an ATI 1950pro on XP pro SP2 and no matter what i do i can't get FSAA to work, Tried it force through CC (7.12) and the game settings itself but no joy.

Any advice (I know TOCA 2 doesn;t support it but TOCA 3 should)

HELP!!

for most games that dont allow FSAA i use nHnacer to force them to work, however this program iirc is NVidia only (not 100% sure)... No idea how you can force AA with ATi, sorry

Anti-Aliasing: Antialiasing (AA) determines how jagged the outlines of objects appear to be. For a full description and screenshot comparisons, see this page of my Gamer's Graphics & Display Settings Guide. It is recommended that you tick the 'Use application settings' box, so that the level of Antialiasing can be set within particular games and won't conflict with your Control Center settings. However if you really want to force a particular level of AA in all 3D games, disable any in-game AA then untick the box here and use the slider here to force a particular level of Antialiasing. From 2x to 4x to 6x sample rate (or higher depending on your graphics card), the higher the level of Antialiasing, the less jagged the lines in games and 3D applications will appear, however the lower your performance will be. Note that Crossfire users will see more options here if Crossfire mode is enabled.

Linky. Hope this helps, but forcing AA can be annoying at times, I knew from experience that Hitman: Blood Money doesn't like it either, and you have to play around with AA, both in-game and in CCC, to get it working correctly.

If the game has any sort of motion blur effect or any sort of full screen shader effect and there's an option to turn it off then try turning it off.

Full screen shaders and FSAA usualy don't mix.

thought you enable it through the advance setup options in the game.

OH elmuuzy is my tag
Yes you can, but i never realised that i had to turn off the special effects to nothing before the FSAA would start to work. Out of the two i much prefer FSAA
