I'm no expert, but I'd assume it wouldn't of got through an MOT if it wasn't fully legal.

If it turns out its not, the I guess I'll just change the exhaust. There are loads of bits around pretty cheap, and it should be fairly easy to work on.

Its as is, and fully legal. To all those asking, it has a numberplate and tax, thereofre must be legal. ITs a Baja Bug, designed to blast accross a desert with big lights to scare off lions and a high up exhaust that doesnt get water or dust in it. Its what it was designed for. I dont think any of them were ever used for this tho...

You can get different exhausts for them, ones that go up then curl back round and out the bacl like a normal exhaust, but why bother, the stock one is awsome!

no clue what they sound like on a normal 1600 TP tho

They have been raced for thirty-odd years and are still raced today.
