Hi, im just wondering what 9 series card would be the equivelent to the 8800GTX, what would be equivelent to the 8800gts and 8800gt?

Thanks, Ben.

Depends on what resolutions and settings you use...

9800GTX = 8800 GTX (But not always...)

9800GTX = Overclocked 8800 GTS 512

There is no equivelant 9series to 8800GT so far

Have a look here: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/nvidia-geforce-9800gtx,review-30590.html

I think basically 9800GTX > 8800GTX except in Crysis with AA (where the lower memory comes in to play?) and much better than an 8800GTS. It's also quite close to an 8800 ultra in most games.

In terms of Power, it consumes less than an 8800GTX and slightly more than a GTS. With stock cooling, it's noisier than both the 8GTX/GTS. And, of course, the 9800GTX is more expensive.

it could have been a lot cheaper yeh . but i think according to some reviews the 8800gt 512mb out performed its 256mb counterpart by a hell of a lot

Supposed to be the 9800 GTX, but imo 8800 GTX hasn't got an equivalent 9 series card, as its faster than the 9800 GTX, as thats only a 512mb 8800 GTS with a higher memory and shader speed, cores the same.:)

The renamed 8800 GTS 512mb (which will be another one, as the 9800 GTX is already one) and 8800 GT are still to come.
