Hey guys, trying to send a 28kg parcel within the UK. cant find shipping under £60, any pointers would be great.

That's perfect as its worth 100£.

aren't these prices business though? and do i just take it along to my parcel force depot or just the post office?

No the price i quoted was a non account price (ie not business)

And either depot or office. also that price is the 48hr delivery price

seems they only take up to 150cm on the length, i'm sending 168cm x 75cm x 7cm

so these guys seem like the best bet

Interparcel are generally good, they don't ship the goods themselves of course, they sub the work out to companies like TNT and DHL.

Yea its going with city link and came in at around £16 for next day. very pleased and thanks to all who posted.
