EA announces UK Release Date for Rock Band - Timed Exclusive for Xbox 360!

Gutted because I, like many people. Have been waiting on this for ages now. No way I will be purchasing at this price point though, especially when the gear is not even wireless.

So basically we have to pay $360 compared to $169 in the USA. Oh and also have to wait an extra 6 months to get it, what a joke.

For how naffed off I am at the pricing, I still know deep down I will end up buying the game and the drums atleast.

And this is the exact thing they want :)

If I was into music/party games I would cough up as well. I can laugh at people who pay the silly amount, but they would probably laugh at me buying SF2 for 40 quid and a joystick for 60 quid around PS1 release date!!

Was really looking forward to this game and it was in my list of must buys. For that price, they can go **** them selves.

EA are a bunch of ****s. FACT.

LOL £180

Anyone with a PS3 would be way better off just importing the US edition, It's currently going for £75 in the USA, just need some form of cheap postage.

Yeah I know but GH2/3 are two of my favourite games of all time, at the very least I will buy the game for £35. Then pick up an accessories pack as and when.

I didn't know it was 15 kg.

Still on some US flights you can get 30 kg or 2 cases. I presume it comes well wrapped. Stick it in the hold of the plane.

With the price difference buy 2 and you can effectively get a free flight to new york. Then just auction the spare on your return :p

Was going to register and have whinge on the EA forums. Registration has been disabled though.:D

Luckily i registered a while ago to whinge about something else so i got to moan a whole bunch :). Though i could afford it I just cant justify spending £180 on the bundle given the horrific mark up. Its ridiculous that you could get the base 360 pack for less or a Nintendo Wii for the same money.

I could live with the price if the peripherals were of good quality but all the feedback I have seen in various places says its all feels very plasticy ( if thats even a word) and not of a particularly good quality.

I don't mind paying top whack for stuff as long as the product is off sufficient quality to warrant it and from what I know this really dosnt. The lack of wireless connectivity is a big annoyance as well.
