"Singer" Pete Doherty is sent to prison

Good. About time too. Shame he'll only have to do a few weeks before he's out on a tag.
 
He'll get more smax in there than out here & meet many more dealers & drug related contacts for future reference. Prison is the last place a Heroin addict should be sent. Would be far better to send them to an Isolated unit for a full clear out & not let them have contact with anybody apart from positive influences.

Doherty, he causes us all pain by his efforts @ singing & his general lifestyle.

Whatever your views on the circumstances of the McCann case, I think to tar them with Dohertys brush is very unfair.

I will add that i agree the term is far to short. My Isolation units would keep junkys for at least a year & would remove them from the county they lived as well. The first 6 months of there release would also be in the county they served doing community work/retraining & living in Controlled semi secure housing where there movements were monitored & a curfue would be in force.
I would not go light on junkys, far from it but Trust me when i say Prison is no place for junkys if you want an end to there behaviour.

Exactly.
Prison should be for those that harm the community/society not people that like plotting up out the way getting high harming nobody but themselves.
 
YES!!!!

Babyshambles are headlining benicassim in I think(hope it is anyway.. better be!) 13weeks.

Hopefully they'll get a proper band to replace them :D:D:D:D:D
