Girl Born with Two Faces

Nope its not just you, There is definatly something not right about the gene pool over there for things like thsi to be happening every few months

india is a 3rd world country with a billion people in it

now lemme explain that for you idiots who dont understand

UK- 50 million
India - 1000 million

so with 20 times the number of people here and with it being a 3rd world country its obviously 1000 times more likely for it to happen in india than anywhere else

when your talking about inbreeding - this only happens in african tribes and norwich (the norwich part is a joke)

only muslims marry their cousins an their are hardly any in india compared to all the other religions there are in india

i guess why this is happened in india is because of the health system - people not recieving vital medicine, jabs, etc also the water is riddled with disease

Why do all these weird births always happen in India?:o

Because they, like the Chinese probably knock out BILLIONS* of them and so are statistically more likely to have them than any country that only produces MILLIONS*.

*Exaggerated made up figures to get the point across :)

Is it me or do these strange defects mostly pop up in India?
India has a very large population, 1.1bn with a high birth rate of 22.7/1,000. Compare that this China, 1.3bn but the birth rate is only 13.5/1,000.

Each year there are 25 million babies in India, China only has 18 million and the EU27 (490 million, 10/1,000) only has around 5 million babies.

It's no surprise these defects mostly pop up in India just based on the numbers, also I bet news reporting is better in India than in China.

Due to the pollution around Bangalore we now get loads of sick days.. not the individual's fault, just like this family and their daughter..

Does everything actually work? Can she eat with both mouths, see with four eyes, breathe with both noses etc? I'm guessing she can't and that half of her facial features aren't actually connected to anything?

India is one of the most unhygenic countries in the world - and it shows. Birth defects are everywhere, which plays a large part in fostering the 'mythical creatures and abberations' culture over there that draws close parallels with hinduism worship. These people often bathe in the same water they drink from, for example. I remember a report saying the River Ganges is one of the most toxic rivers in the country, yet thousands flock to and bathe in it every month.

I suppose if proper hygiene isnt maintained then food and water will get polluted with gunk and toxins. When the contaminated food and water is then ingested it most likely damages male semen/female ovaries which results in birth defects.

India is a very unhygienic country. There is a massive divide between the higher and lower castes. Notice in the story the family are poor and have very little money, in which case they are most likely from a lower caste. Its therefore likely that people like these are kept low and are forced to eat scraps and contaminated food stuffs.

Makes me mad when I go to India to see people of my community (lower castes) treated this way, and yet there is very little I or anyone else can do.

Well, lack of hygiene leads to infection and disease, which in turn leads to congenital defects. Exposure to toxic substances in say, rivers or bathing areas that I've mentioned earlier can affect developing foetuses for example.

If this happened in england it would be picked up in the scans that happen during pregnancy, in which case more than likely a termination would be recommended. In 3rd world countries they are less likely to have such detailed/regular scans and as such they go unnoticed until birth. Thats my best guess.

When the contaminated food and water is then ingested it most likely damages male semen/female ovaries which results in birth defects.
The only thing which would cause the affects seen in the OP is something carcinogenic.

Even then, the chances of the local populatuon being severely ill would would be extremely high, and would obviously be noticable.

Poor food and immunisation? No. Just, no.

Looking at other case studdies like the girl with 8 limbs.. this girls parents will never have to work for money. Since they will make a freak show out of her.

not that im stereo typing. just a thought.
