Anyone picked up some fashionable bargains recently? First opportunity in ages for me to pop and get some clothes, and knowing who's got a good sale on will decide for me which town to go to!

Not sure if anyone has sales on but there are always bargains to be had. Pop into London or head out to Kingston (looking at your location) and take a look around the shops as you've got some time.

Cheers Jimmeh :) You are probably right, but it is the searching and looking around shops that I can't stand, I am more of a '->shop ->buy' person. I shall browse some of the shops I know in Kingston's websites.

To spin the topic off slightly, I have always known how to dress smartly (on nights out for example) and look good whilst doing it but my attempts at looking fashionable in casual clothes generally borders around 'FAIL'.

How do we know what looks good at the moment? I have seen the old man's cardigan with a white-t shirt underneath look quite frequently. Has this died off now? Are we wearing old women's cardigans now?

trying to look fashionable? how about just buy what you like and feel comfortable in it, that looks a lot better than someone trying to fit in and not feeling comfortable.

Bluewater isnt far away, plenty of shops. Given the time of year would expect quite a few sales on.

Most places have 'Mid-Season Sales' on at the moment with it now being the time that would usually be about Easter and school/university holidays on.

I work near Oxford Street though and haven't seen any good bargains, as a mid season sale is just a marketing thing really, rather than a proper sale.

I'm not sure what clothing your looking for, but when in Republic last weekend I saw some really good offers on jackets etc with two for £50, on jackets worth like £35 each.

it's just the way you carry it, i like to just keep it simple with clean lines. to be honest wear anything with confidence and you look cool, it's just vital to not look like you're trying.
