Only 14 weeks, rofl, what a **** take, man i love our Govt. 
To those of you saying he's using the taxpayers money/waste of money, you quite blatantly have no idea what you're talking about.
Babyshambles, and more-so The Libertines, are two bands that have probably made a few million pound between them, so infact he probably have/will ultimately pay a great deal more tax than any of us, im sure much more than 14 days in prison will cost...

He's a good musician even if you don't like his music (I think some of it is great, some not so)
I really don't like the guy but he doesn't bother me in the slightest, some of you guys are getting awfully worked up about him and it's quite sad.

She's another stupid bint, ugly as sin and have no idea why some people think she's attractive. She's looks off her face all the time (even in her photoshots) and had to be when she said the that Pete is the most beautiful man she's ever known.
People look up to celebrities in the UK, young impressionable people copy their idols.
He is harming others if it is shown that such actions are treated with kid gloves by the court. Drug sales go towards organised crime.
I agree with you that prison isn't the best place for him though, I'd prefer addicts to get the proper help.

Really?, such a sweeping statement! Have you heard any of his albums or been to any of his concerts?
I'm not a major fan or anything, my wife really likes his music and she dragged me along to his Concert at Wembley Arena a few months back and I was impressed.
Just because he's somewhat of a druggie, that does not make him talentless...

You honestly believe an 11 year old is going to start taking heroin because he does? Please. At least have a little faith in your daughter.

There are more things to worry about than a junkied up little boy (although it would be funny if he got a needle of his own up his you know what).

Sorry, but I know where R124/LA420 is coming from. My daughter is 6 and likes Amy Winehouse. I had to lie to my daughter as to why Amy Winehouse was going into hospital.
Why should I be made to lie to my daughter because of these drug addled idiots who appear to be lauded for talents I fail to see.
If you fail to see the talent in Amy Winehouse then perhaps you should start taking drugs yourself
It is up to the parents to educate there children properly rather than pretend the World is a harmless place. Bring your child up in a bubble & they will stand No chance out in the Real World.
I personally prefer my children to be aware of drugs but choose Not to take them. As i have said earlier Pete is a Perfect example Not to do drugs not an example to do drugs.

have to agree with malc here, prison isn't the right place to send people that aren't harming others (imo), if they weren't in there, there'd be plenty of room for the ***** idiots instead
