Polo advert taken off tv

Advert 'banned' when its still fresh and not annoying, gaining extra publicity from the 'ban'. Advert goes viral as a banned advert.

Who wants to bet that the 60 complainants work for the ad company hired by VW ;)

How is it hard to understand the Ad distressed a few people. It shows what looks like an abused animal. You can't train an animal to act like that it would have to be genuinely scared and if it was put on a vibrator plate like the op said then that is abuse as the dog is clearly **** scared. Glad they took it down.

VW being too clever for their own good again.

both of those adverts are class, for them to be banned is a damn shame, its only a dog and im pretty sure it wasnt harmed in any way, in fact it was probably treated better than most dogs out there

Too FAR!

But to get into that state it has to have been frightened?

Which is a form of abuse if the dog has been intentionally frightened.

Some animals are just nervous from the off, some perfectly normal animals can become timid or aggressive because of purposeful actions but then again it can just be nature of the animal. I would be dubious also that a large corporation with a history of banned touchy adverts would use an abused animal and the same can be said about the RSPCA.

Bit of a joke really, its a shame people dont take a real stand or complain about things that really matter.

Yea suppose. It's a difficult one to call hence why I reckon the ad was taken down. That and I'm sure VW don't want the bad press.
