What a ripoff

PS3 really needs triggers though they should have added some officials ones to the DS3

Microsoft. I mean the 360 controller is so well made - especially the implementation of the triggers. I'd be very surprised if Microsoft didn't at least patent those.

You can still get backorders of the march psm3 magazine with the triggers if you telephone them on 01225 442244.
I rang them last week and got a copy for £4.50.

So you're saying MS owns triggers? :O

What about Dreamcast? didn't that have triggers first?

I'm not saying that MS owns triggers, I said that I assume so. Especially since Sony didn't at least maybe put a bevel on theirs.

ima try em tomorrow and order 4 copys. 3 for myself and 1 for flea bay = free triggers for me.

I very much doubt that Microsoft could have a patent on what is essentially a shaped button. Things like this must be difficult to patent as the console manufacturers copy each other all the time with features etc - it's normally the tech behind the button etc which they patent.

Or for £300 I could've bought a G25 and playseat.. which I did.

Just got the Triggers in through the mail just now. I attached them to the DS3 and it feels like a whole new controller. The back buttons are a lot easier to press down accuratly now. Going to try out a few games later on with them.

I still feel stupid for paying £21 for them. :rolleyes:

Dammit all the back orders are sold out. iv got in contact the the editor of ps3m and he was gunna hunt around the office for a set for me but im not holding out much hope. if anyone wants to sell em for a tenner i will be more than happy to. i got a DS3 coming and would really like some on em fresh from hong kong.
