Last September my Brother's wife and my wife's best mate Angie died of cancer at the age of 41

Cheryl ( my missus ) wants to raise money for cancer research in her memory and had decided to do a 13,000ft skydive over the Mojave desert ( near the Nevada/Arizona border ) on 7th June

If anyone would like to sponsor her and help a good cause it would be greatly appreciated, no amount is too small :)

Every penny raised will go to the charity as I am paying all costs involved ( sometimes the charity ends up funding the event, this is not the case here )

If you are a UK tax payer the government will also contribute tax relief through gift aid

Is there a cutoff for the sponsorship? As I can chuck a couple of quid in when I get paid. I would love to chuck my lass out of a plane, oops, I mean skydive for charity.

No cut off, it will stay open until she does it

I will post pics when we get back around the 14th June :)
 
Good luck to your wife :) This is an awesome way to raise money rather than the usual run or hike or whatever.

As a poor student I can't give a lot but I donated :)

Awesome thing to do - why don't you join her? Once in a lifetime experience and all that :)

There is a weight limit of 15st 10lb so unfortunately I can't

that and I am **** scared of heights :p

it will be filmed by a bloke jumping out the plane along side her ( and the tandem bloke )

I ought to have just posted the video and claimed I was the cameraman :D

from over 2 miles up she should be able to see Lake Mead, Hoover Dam , Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon :D
 
sure we can put a few quid your way, tis all for a good cause, you'll find many people in here have had someone in their life touched by cancer

Is there a deadline for giving money? It's just I'm not paid until the 25th and funds are a bit scarce until then!
