Please tell me im being stupid

shag her, you must, its the man thing to do, and you know it

PMSL, shes fit as well  And we have been talking a lot today ;) Just want to take things VERY slowly if we were to go down that route, its obvious she likes me and i know shes been trated like crap as well, oddly enough by kerrys brother

Anyhow kerrys rung today moaning that she wont get her income support for a good 4 weeks and her tax credits have stopped. So all she gets now is £40 odd quid a week for child benefit. Tenner of that goes on nappies staight away and her mum has the rest.

So she left cos shes fed up of being skint, now shes even worse off. Classic, and just to top things off i text back and said "Bet youre glad you left now but never mind you know best" :D

LOL you seem to be in s better spirit now m8, good for you :D How are things going generally?

Aero

Not bad, frustrating that there dont seem to be many even half decent jons about

My sister gave me £100 today so i did a decent shop and managed to get a decent pair of shoes, cant go to interviews ( if i get any ) in the crap things i have now.

Looking very optimistic for the future, and knowing that caz is interested lifts my spirits no end :)

Wow, just read through the whole thread! A roller-coaster of emotions if there ever was one!

Glad you've started to get things sorted - keep strong and don't budge an inch when it comes to standing up to Kerry. So glad you're keeping your emotions controlled - must be good for the confidence :)

Good luck on the job hunting there will be something out there for you.

Remember - If you're feeling down there is always someone willing to make you laugh or lend a hug. I was send this picture today in an e-mail - hope it's not too early in the thread for "comedy"

Either way I salute you fine sir! ;)

really glad things are looking up for you. A fresh new start. You'll end up with loads more cash and a hot new chick while she sniffs the gutter.

I can't help but cringe when I read about a 23 year old girl with a 4th kid on the way who's biggest ambition in life is getting a £500 bonus for being pregnant! I'm sorry but she sounds like a good example of why this country is going to pot!

Get yourself a decent job and i'm sure getting custody will be possible in the future when you can show your able to provide for them.

And ive just discovered that the close friend i saw yesterdsay likes me. But kerrys told her not to bother. I mean WTF how dare she
she dosent want me, but dosent want anyone else to either it seems

WHat on Earth do you expect? You've only JUST had a major breakup... and now you want to date someone she knows straight away? Way to go mate if you want your kids raised by her thinking you're a complete ****. If you want to date anyone then do it with someone anonymous who she doesn't know... just because she split with you doesn't mean she's not entitled to any form of jealousy or strong emotions in that respect... she may not love you in the way she should but that doesn't mean you both still don't have a lot of emotional attachment together, and to jump straight in with someone else who she knows in the first week of a major seperation is a bit low to be honest imho.

So she left cos shes fed up of being skint, now shes even worse off. Classic, and just to top things off i text back and said "Bet youre glad you left now but never mind you know best" :D

Mate I know it probably seems like a good idea at the time to text her these things, but the brief feeling of pleasure you get just isn't worth it. If you are serious about this seperation and divoce, and this isn't some wee ploy to make her feel like she made a mistake and to beg you to come back, then you need to be acting as cold and as professional as possible. Leave the snide jokes and remarks out of it, as this may leave her with openings in the future.

Yeah that makes sense... Meatloaf getting a decent job and then taking on err... 3 or 4 kids? That'll work well for maintaining a role and his career aspirations, having 4 young children to care for 24/7. Yeesh. PLus the longer the kids are with the mother the longer the chance of them staying firmly put, they won't want to move after growing up with her. Best thing he can do is get a good job, actually start earning a sensible wage, and just be there whenever he can for the children, making sure he sees them often.

What and talking about going for custody while earning £60pw at Pizza Hut is a good idea? Or do you think that people should stay at home and look after kids at the Tax Payers expense?

No, but then again what on earth has that got to do with what I posted. I never even remotely even suggested getting custody on a £60 wage, or staying home at the tax payers expense, was a good idea. I don't think him shooting for custody at all is a good idea, he should be focussing on getting a decent career and money rolling in before anything else imo. :)

Richdog, im not wanting to pursue anything with carol at this point, i need to get myself sorted first :)

And bilieve it or not, my solicitor actually said i had a better chance of getting the kids if i was unemployed  Mainly because i could bthere 24/7 and not have to rely on sitters/creshes.

Plus the kids are now in a new school so uprooting them again just wouldnt be the right thing to do at all.

But i do feel more positive every day now.

Now i must go practice for this competition im entering on friday if i want to bag the cash prize

The question MeatLoaf is... do you want to spend the rest of your life scraping by on unemployed benefits? What sort of future is that going to give your children? Fight to get a good job and a good wage and you can give them a bright future in 10 years time, and feel a lot better about yourself to boot. You can still get regular access to them and see them often. :)
