Why are all 'trendy' clothes gay?

I just popped in Meadowhall and popped into the usual stores where I buy my jeans from . . USC, FCUK, House Of Fraiser, Republic and a few other stores, the majority of jeans are bleached with hideous colours, creased or pre-ripped.

I Usually spend £50-£100 on a pair of jeans, as they tend to last me years and they're usually comfy. It also seems that the usual brands I go for (Lacoste, Replay, FCUK etc) have all slightly gotten longer, maybe i'm getting shorter but it also seems trendy to have jeans slightly longer than they should be?

Don't get me started on the queer tee's . . .

Just a small rant . . I did see some nice replay jeans for £100, but they were a little long. Funny really, same size/same brand jeans that I currently own (from last year) fit properly.

Has anyone else noticed this influx of gay clothing or is it just me?

£100 for a pair of jeans - and you're going on about gayness?

Even if I wasn't a student, what difference is there between a pair of £50 jeans and pair of £100 jeans? They all cost less than £5 to make.

I think you made a mistake in the thread title it should be "Why are all gay clothes trendy??"

Sorry but i wouldn't wear any of those makes if you paid me! FCUK - i'd rather shop at pri-mark with the ******!

What's gay about that? If I can afford to do so, I will. I'd rather buy 1 pair of £100 jeans than 3 pairs of £33 jeans over 3 years.
I would rather have 3 x £33 ones as you get a new pair every year.

Anyway, meadowhall is dreadful, so that was your first mistake sonny boy.

£40 can get you some really nice jeans from GAP :p Which is what i normally wear, along with some £7 ones from Primark.

Saying that, i have a pair of Ted Baker & Diesel Jeans that goes into 3 digits.

Try Evisu, g-star, levi and diesel jeans, they're all better quality and feel better on than cheap jeans, though many will disagree as per

Actually it has nothing to do with that, it's the fact that it's all poor quality, over priced and over rated *****!!!
Thats not true at all. The quality is very high on several T-shirts and pairs of jeans I have purchased and I think the price is fair. The only photos of what I own include me, sadly.

Well fitting and non-shrinking. What more can you ask for?

I buy most of my jeans from Next. I have a pair on that have slight marks in them, not torn but look worn in... I think they look nice. My Jeans don't last that long though.. I have a habit of not liking them after a few months a buy a load more.. its horses for coarses really though... some people can wear clothes that you may not like and they look good in them...

I think having not bought clothes for such a long time you may have lost touch... chill out and try new things...

These are not the jeans you should be looking at though!!!
