Ford VIN plate help - colour code

Anyone able to tell me what colour my Mondeo is from the plate? I've searched but have come up empty handed.

ha ha ha, it's R6, which if i was to put into the mixing computer at work (standox & sikkens(actually any other scheme i've ever worked on come to think of it) it will list about every colour ford have ever spilt over one of their cars - they are as good as meaningless ford dealership will be the best place. We used to have a list of codes & colours that actually meant something that are basically supplied on paper from the paint manufacturers.
As far as I know the code is 'R' on a 200'6' car.

sorry about the mini rant, fords codes are crap, for want of using much more 'colourful' language

Its free, and as long as you have the reg plate or vin you can find out, what model/engine size/bhp/No of gears colour, then you can opt to pay for more info.

Amparo is a great colour.

Cuirass is a silver/blue colour, very nice, can be seen on late Escort Cosworths as well. Kindof a modern Moonstone Blue.
