Looks nice, but I think perhaps a little too noisey with not that much going on, in that essentially all you have is the name of it and that logo, yet they are buried under the stripes / reflections etc.

Cheeky edit: would also look at positioning of the text / logo -- play around with it see if you come up with anything funky, I always find the centered approach a bit bland :(

The reflection on the end 'g' isn't right, and it's blinking annoying once you notice it! :p

I prefer the second, but the logo is weak. And i'm not sure how to constructively crit it on the grounds i'm a photographer, not a logo designer!

Both are nice and punchy though :)
 
The logo is a little inconsistent, the weight of the curl over the e is too drastically different to the typography. The outline, gradient and the shadow all need tweaking. The first version is definitely better, the grid behind the logo on the second version is unnecessary and distracting.

Overall the web 2.0 look is fine if that is what you are after, but I would highly recommend rethinking the logo. The typeface is nice (what is it, Futura? Century Gothic?) but it would be wise to play with different weights (mainly in the logo) and see how it looks, to make everything feel a little less Barron.

For starters if you're making a team, don't be having "pro gaming", it makes you looks crap :)

yeh i second the notion of losing the 'pro gaming'. If you were anything remotely like pro gamers you wouldnt be making the site and some net monkey would be doing it.

Unless you are the said net monkey.
 
Haha the pro gaming was just there to fill the 'gap' so it won't be on the final :)

The logo took 2-3 minutes and was just a knock up, the type face is GeosansLight and i agree with most of the crit on the logo.

Just shaved a bit off the top real quick and change pro gaming to...

eSports team is just as bad as pro gaming imho :D

You might also want to consider getting rid of the reflection and maybe use a more bold font just to be different. A lot of small "less-known" teams all have this image of a site which has a glass effect with reflections etc, but it's too over used really!

What CMS are you going to be using for the site? might I suggest WebSpell
