US Sim to call the UK

Hi all.

I am off to Las Vegas in August and wanted to be able to call from there back to family in the UK.

Now does anyone have an idea of where I could get a US PAYG sim that won't cost me a small fortune (which will no doubt be lost in the casinos) to call back home.

I have a Nokia 6300 so I know it will work out there on the US networks.

I have Googled meself to death for US sims and find so many different deals I am confused as hell!

So, any ideas now greatly appreciated!!!

I think you can just go into the local Wallmart and buy them, pretty sure that was what some of the guys on my ski trip were doing.

Unless your phone is unlocked then you cannot use a non provider(service)sim card.
Did you buy it as sim free/unlocked?
Or did you get it unlocked?
A uk Vodafone/O2/or whatever Pay as you talk phone cannot be used on Vodafone, O2 or whatever in the USA unless unlocked from that UK service.

Aye the phone is all ready to go with a new sim - just trying to get advice where to get one.

As for Walmart - do they have that in Vegas?!

To find where Wally world stores are(Walmart)
Go to www.walmart.com
Use the find nearest store, enter location and it will tell you the nearest one.

There are 20 stores in an around.........
