p111550
ami motherboard
384mb ram
tnt ultra 32mb graphics (still amazing with thief ect)
19" lg crt still going strong
twin hard drives 20gb largest
the only addition is a samsung dvd burner (the system will compress a duel lair dvd to 60% in about 1hr and 20mins) and xp pro
Same here,
486SX 25Mhz (with a switch to drop it to 16Mhz if it was running too quickly!)
1mb ram (upgraded to 4Mb soon after at £125)
256k S3 graphics
40Mb hdd (upgraded to 500mb at £90)
no cd (until I bought one later at £100)
Had plenty of 8bit computers before that, but that was the first 'PC'.
First PC was a Elonex 286 SX 16, 2Mb Ram, 20Mb HDD and a CD-Rom, lasted for 1 week until I replaced the lot for a 486Dx2 66 running as a DX4 100, those were the days
mine was an acorn have no idea what the spec was but ran the acorn os plus had an exe or equivalent to run windows 3.1 with a shady dot matrix printer which worked when it wanted to never when you wanted it to though
Yeah, vette was like this racing game. cant remember all of it but you would get tickets if you speeded too fast, you had to do some kind of missions. I got the disc from central library.
In the end I was in a fit of rage due to the disc not working, I broke the cd. I then gave it back to the library and they never noticed..
Upgraded the RAM to 32mb, upgraded the hard drive to 6.4gb, put a 24x cd rom in (holy crap that thing was noisy), added a Voodoo 3d accelerator and overclocked the CPU to 166Mhz
