I think there is a turtle chilling in my back yard

its a baby i think because i've been picking it up and it wont bite me. it has some claws on it but it didn't get aggressive or anything. I put a tub of water out and it decided to go into it but im scared he's drowning and he is not actually a turtle.

He is pretty small, the size of a palm probably. I have named him Jam master Jay.

put a rock/tray or something on a slope in the tub so he can crawl onto it if he wants to keep his head out of the water or get out again :)

It think it's safe to conclude that it has indeed eaten kens fingers, and is now slowly devouring him :(

i just went out to check where he was at and he appears to of dissapeared, i think he has hidden him self under the straw/stick things to keep cool as it is very hot outside today. I will get more pics when he comes out :)

Jam Master Jay does not like carbs :p

In all seriousness should i just let it sleep there for the rest of the day/night or should I inform someone? I have no idea how it got here because im at least 1 mile from the closest creek.

neighbors lost a pet recently?

nope no pets next door or the other side, not like he could get in either as there is a brick wal on all 4 sides

Either way I think I may just let him live in my back yard.....I have a rabbit that lives in my back yard too called george, he comes out at night eats the food i leave for him then buggers off :p
