you can press numbers 1-9 and it seems to change driver.... but thats as far as i got.

Can't get it to run in Vista 64, if I either run or load settings from Steam I get a this program has stopped working error message, everything else works fine though.

Try downloading the one from the TMN website and installing it without steam?

Cant see anywhere in profile/settings that lets me use 360 controller, only thing that I can think of it wont work cos Im using it via the plug n charge thingy, even though windows recognises it.

Keys are a PITA.

it's just buttons that are configurable in the game menu, click on it and then press the button (or push the stick, for analogue) to map it.

That's strange, try quitting the game, and then restarting it (so it comes up with the splash menu) and go to Configure>Advanced>Inputs, and check the 'alternate method' box.

I've been playing the solo version of this game since release and it's quite fun, if annoying at times in the "acrobatic" courses. Usually I can get the silver medals in first go with a few tries in gold but I did get a "map author" medal, which is nice. I'm just about completed unlocking the green maps.

If anyone wants to add me my name is "afraser2k" for online though I'm probably not too good at the game.

In Vista, the path should be: C:\Users\(username)\Documents\TrackMania\Skins\Vehicles\Carcommon, creating the path if it doesn't exist.

but if it's a 2D skin try:

If the skin 2D is for an original model, zip files must be placed in :
- vehicle Island : My documents\TrackMania\Skins\Vehicles\SportCar
- vehicle Bay : My documents\TrackMania\Skins\Vehicles\BayCar
- vehicle Coast : My documents\TrackMania\Skins\Vehicles\CoastCar
- vehicle Speed : My documents\TrackMania\Skins\Vehicles\American
- vehicle Alpine : My documents\TrackMania\Skins\Vehicles\SnowCar
- vehicle Rally : My documents\TrackMania\Skins\Vehicles\Rally

Don't suppose anyone has had audio problems since upgrading to TMUF? For some reason all my car noises are coming from my rear speakers, although menu noises are fine.

I have had a bizarre problem where the car engine doesn't come on, upon starting a new race, but that's only happened in solo mode.

I've added you, also
