I have read a couple of reviews of the hp w2408h and it seems good value at £300 for a 24" monitor, does anyone have one? If so what are your thoughts?
Cheers.
Got one for my sister a few weeks ago, so I haven't used it much, but from when I have:
Viewing angles are fine unless looking at it from the bottom, which makes the colours invert (but who uses a monitor like that anyway?).
Colours are very vibrant (much more so than my Dell 2407), though I think a lot of this is down to the glossy screen, which some people don't like.
Black levels are pretty good.
It can automatically adjust the screen brightness depending on the amount of light in the room (this can also be disabled completely).
The stand is very adjustable and can rotate to portrait mode - using the included HP software you can make your desktop automatically shift 90 degrees when you use portrait.
It has 2 USB ports on the side, which I find come in really handy on my Dell.
All-in-all I think it's a very decent monitor for the price.
