I stress the word type as i don't know the exact name for this type of shoe but i would like some. I am aware Addidas produce shoes like this but what other brands? And where can i go in Oxford Street or around that area to find shoes like this?

i suggest you go into *any* shoe / trainer shop and ask for 'high tops' - job done
(google image search for high tops will give you a pretty huge choice of brands)

(also - selfridges have a pretty mean shoe department (at least they do in birmingham))

Try Shuh(?) downstairs and Nike Town obviously. They're both really close to each other next to the Topman.

No idea, I avoid Oxford Street like the plague, I just know there is a nike Town there. Might be closed, bit it's huge isn't it? Would they close the whole thing for refurb, or just do it a bit at a time?

Try Schuh, they do a wide range of trainers, of it not then see if there is an offspring.

Though as said, nike town apprently!

Yeah Size (or Size? as i think its known) has loads of shoes like that.

Theres the one in Carnaby Street and one near Covent Garden in a small shopping centre thing.

Bring sunglasses when going in there though because all the colours may give you seizures.

Those are Nike Air Jordan 1's you definitely wont find them in NikeTown, size doesnt really have a great stock of Jordans. You want the retros as youll never be able to find a pair of og's in any sort of condition. Best bet, buy from the internet or america. Expect to pay, as they havent been retroed in a few years iirc.

If you want shoes like that, then look at Nike: Terminators, Vandals, Blazers, Court Forces, Air forces, etc all in high tops. Nike Town wont really stock these styles Size? or Online will. Basically you want High Tops.
