That last 5 seconds was worth the relative tedium of the 90 minutes preceeding it lol
Not that many chances for either side that actually tested each goalie
According to the commentary , one more yellow for Gerrard and he misses the final, and they havent scored at the bridge in 8 attempts (both of these "facts" may be incorrect but Im sure thats what I heard)
Definitely in Chelsea's favour, Liverpool only deserved one goal but not really the one they got (lucky on several occasions for the goal)
Shocking defending by both teams, but Drogba showed he wasnt fully fit and again the "magical" Torres doesnt score

I wasn't overly ecstatic at anything, how could I be? That was a massively boring game, I'm unhappy at losing 2 hours of my life that I could have used better picking my nails
.I'm sure the Liverpool fans will be happier knocking Man Utd for losing tomorrow whilst Man Utd fans fume at Giggs' performance.

it is one more yellow for gerrard, ditto terry and a couple of others. Liverpool were the better side to be fair, torres had a big off night for them though and chelsea came into it more in the second half, it was very unimaginative from them though, you'd want a side with a midfield containing ballack, cole and lampard to show a bit mroe ability to retain possession.

btw Frank, yes Gerrard is a booking away from a suspension (as is Aurelio, Carra and now Terry) and yes we haven't scored there in our last 8 games.
Hypia was on the bench for this one iirc? So why didn't Rafa stick him on, swap Carra to right back with Arbeloa on the left. Risse positional play has never been good far as defending goes...

The away goal gave us an advantage and was an advantage just as it is for Chelsea now. But like Arsenal were, we're still in the game.
