Champions League Semi Final *Spoilers* 22/23 April

*yawn* the usual Sky bias towards man utd from the usual 3 of Gray, Keys and Wilkins, Souness fianlly said what Gray, Keys and Wilkins and Redknapp etc have never said, "Ronaldo goes to ground too easy" never heard anyone say that before on Sky about him, about time someone said it, but none of them would agree with Souness they stayed quiet *yawn*.

Maybe its a lack of watching nothing but English football all my life but... wtf are Barcelona doing?

They keep possession great but they're playing like they wont except nothing other than a goal from inside the 6-yard box. They get the ball to a player in space, then that player either flicks it to someone surrounded by 5 united players, or tries to take on a wall alone.

Although they're good to see on the ball, I can't see them scoring. They're so nonchalant and have absolutely no penetration. Even when they get the ball out wide in a good position, they refuse to cross it, and instead run inside to the packed area.

Baffling  ...they need Gerrard in the middle ;)

On another day Eto'o scores and not going down is rewarded - this is just a case where it didn't benefit. It's the gamble you take.

Barcelona still need more willing runners to get in behind.

so he should be rewarded for not cheating?

He wouldn't have been rewarded for not cheating. He would have been given the penalty for what was a foul. However it seems as though that you can't win a free-kick unless you go to ground and until refs start given fouls on merit rather than the antics of the fouled player then it will only further encourage diving.
