Well i have started going out for runs recently, and really enjoy listenin to music that motivates me and gets the adrenalin going. But have kind of made my way through all of my own. So asking what sort of songs really get you pumped up and ready to go? Been listenin to the crystal method, and pendulum and rise against sort of stuff!

Cheesy trance stuff like the Euphoria albums and the DJ Doboy mixes. It has to be mixes not individual tracks cause I need something that doesn't end every 5 minutes, otherwise I pay attention to how long I've been working out based on the number of tracks I've heard, whereas I don't think about it if it's a continuous mix.

I can not workout to dance, and I think all these suggestions are weak!

Needs to be heavy, hard and loud.

Muse - Hysteria
Breaking Benjamin - Blow Me Away
Disturbed - Down with the sickness

put simply

converge - jane doe
anything by baroness/coliseum/rise and fall

thats my staple diet at the moment

slayer if you need some aggro

if you are keen on rise against then why not try

no trigger/strike anywhere/7 seconds/ misfits especially the EARTH AD album - green hell is a good - faced paced song

anti flag
millencollin
strung out
A Wilhelm Scream
propaghandi
lawrence arms

im also listening to the nerve agents - but they may be a little too messy for a rise against fan - give it all a try - its well worth it

most of these bands have a myspace/last.fm that you can sample their music
