2008 Spanish GP - Race 4/18

McLaren looking to be half a second of the pace :/

Why is Heidfeld always so much worse than Kubica? Does the car just suit Kubica's driving style/setup preference more or something?

They maybe working on different things (quali vs race pace). Or Heidfeld's engineer doesn't want to show his hand to the rest of the teams so maybe sand bagging? Just a guess but I agree he is usally behind Kubica in practice (and quali this year).

Well BMW arent in the top 11 in Practice 2. Good to see the Red Bulls in the mix, surprising to see the Renaults 2nd and 3rd.

Gonna be a close old race i reckon (hope :))

Real topsy turvey times

Cheers for the full listings RP. 1 sec covering the top 11 is pretty close, have no idea how to call it in qualifying. Can see the Macs moving up a bit, with possibly a BMW splitting them, Renault in there too as well.

Looks like a lot of sand bagging by everyone... afterall they've spent weeks there testing so a one more day of "official practice" is better used as a psycological exercise.

Nice to see some massive "Ace of Spades" banners being waved in the crowds... Those spanish officialls really are strict on racism....

I'm going to miss this race :(. on the booze in Plymouth for a mates birthday.

As for force insia, I have the feeling it's going to be the Abramovich of the F1 world. where they will just chuck money at it as there billionaires. Expect good things from them. The Motor home is just a show of there investment. Until they can really get designing and improving there cars.
